That's mine...

Any question about what's going on with something just ask. I know there's a good chance of some weird design decisions in there. Smiley

Hey guys,

Neato ! It would be even better if someone had configurated a C-47 that can tow a Horsa and then release the Horsa. The C-47 should be an AI plane.

I think Operation Market Garden was quite stupid with most of the supplies dropped to the Axis. It was not planned carefully and the probability that the plan had to work was 75%. By and large, I think it was a failure.

Sadly, I don't think that's within the limitations of FS. Also, I thought Horsas were towed by Halifax bombers, not Dakotas.  Undecided

PSW ye i agree the overall operation was a failure as far as the on going resupply, but the first assault waves of the UK para elements used gliders to great affect so did the US 101's in thier own gliders. The cock up came with the resupply by c-47's for the simple reason there werent enough to make it effective and as you say the miss drops, but id say market garden was a huge success as far as the glider ops go.

as for who towed them it was mostly c-47's as after D-DAY pritty much all allied bombers were used up in CAS missions for forces moving inland. With market garden being launched after D-DAY the lack of bombers for the task ment that c-47's were used but it was far from ideal

Which parts are you missing?

You might have to "Unhide All"...looking through the archive it seems that some parts may be hidden. Smiley

Both wings and the aft-fuselage at the least were set up for breakaway. Wingtips were not set up IIRC.

It's still in development, I was hoping to have it out in June, but it just won't work properly...

There's nearly this too. I'm sure if there was enough interest we could see it fairly soon, maybe even in FS04...

At first guees i would say that its a contact point issue. If i'm right in thinking that it sinks in the ground then starts doing back flips??

I have a tutorial on contact points if you want to have a look at it.
