There are a few things that make this photo probably one of my favorate photos of all time. One this is the sort of shot i want to one day be able to take. And Two, it was taken at tupelo airport which is just down the road from the college i will be attending.
I cant wait to have the opportunity to see these size storms again as they are quite common in the area. Those bolts of lightning on the left are actually right in the area of the college, just to the northeast of the airfield

That must have been a bad storm, I suprised they let that aircraft go.

wish it was my photo. Like i said one day i hope to have the ability to take these types. The photographer was chris markerson if you do a search for tupelo airport on anet you will see some of his other masterpieces.

i'm not sure but i think there's a similiar shot like this one on Anet...if not, it's on the website of the USAF...yes, i think the USAF site...i'll look it up!

would have been a longer exposure time me thinks. few seconds, maybe minutes.
