I would choose one of this kind: 1967 Shelby GT500E Super Snake.
http://www.sandersonsales.com/images/gt500e/supersnake.htm
That´s the car from Gone in 60 Seconds with Nicolas Cage. I love it, the movie and the car. It´s just a bit tuned, to 750HP, some
N O S
...
oh yeah, and that all for 150000 $. You can get a cheaper one for 40000 $, that would be quite well, but its not so tuned...
What a dream, but i´ll first have to get 18, than get the money for the driving license, than get one, and later get a good job, get 150000$ together and than, than i´d buy it. Maybe, maybe i would have spent most of the money before, for a flying license, and later for a nice plane, no big plans, just a Reno Mustang, or maybe a DH-88 Comet, nah just a joke. But would be quite cool.

Or what about this thing, not nice but effective...
No one will dare to overtake you than, or if someone blocks you the way, make his car a bit more flat.
Or get yourself some parking place...

At last! Someone with excellent taste in cars... After all this F1 talk, I was beginning to wonder if there was any hope for the world! For the record though, there was no GT500 'E' The Eleanor appelation was added after that cheesy remake of Gone in 60 Seconds. A very nice car, but a really crappy movie, imho. There was also never a 'Super Snake' I have no idea where you got that one.

I have that car's more dignified uncle. The Grand National was the fastest production car on the road in it's day, and just plain drop dead gorgeous. It was one of the few bright spots in the mid-80's automotive world. In a time when everything was pretty much crap (even the Corvettes from that era sucked) it stood out. I have a 95 Buick Riviera w/ the same 3.8l Supercharged motor and I can take on Mustangs and Firechickens all day long....

That way i´d choose an Mitsubishi Eclipse, i´d tune it up, with NOS, and everything to make it drive faster, accelerate better, slide a bit more and so on. And than to the Outside, nice OZ-Antares rims, Gold neon pulse light, dark black window tints, some spoiler, a roof scoop, a better hood, and some new side fron and back parts. And some nice Colours, maybe a carbon hood, and a yellow/orange car...
I think that would be all i need.
But then i think a GT500 Super Snake would be cheaper...
p.s.: The super snake model is the thing with better engine and so on, the one on the photos. And the E stands for the optical tuned edition i think.

I think my dream car would be a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro (there's a shock, lol) SS396. I would want a long list of options on it though. One would be the rare L89 396 engine option (375hp, highest output 396 plus it had aluminum heads-on 311 '69 Camaro's had the L89 engine); of course I'd probably hotrod the engine a little. I would want it to have a Black with White racing stripe paint job, a cowl induction hood, and a factory style Delux Houndstooth interior. Also with the interior I would want a console with the gauge cluster and the factory 8000rpm tach on the dash. It would have a Muncie M-22 4-spd manual transmission with a 12-bolt posi rear end with 4.10 gears. I would also want it to have factory 4 wheel disc brakes.
Since this is MY dream car, I would worry about damaging a car with this value by adding a stereo. I would probably put the exact same modest stereo I have in my '69 Camaro into it. I would put an Alpine MP3 deck in it, put 2 Eclipse 6x9 speakers in the back and 2 JL 3 1/2s in the front.
Well, thats a basic rundown-just to give a general idea.

guys, not everything is as easy as The Fast and the Furious... Nitrous is very dangerous, and in the end you will be disapointed because you sprayed too much and shot your pistons through the block. A good 'ol blower will get you just as much power and then some, and a motor can last much longer.

I'm with Exploder on the Heavy Metal
But if I had a choice, well I'm a rally nut so any of the following;
Lancia Stratos Gp4
Audi Quattro Sport S1 (Short Wheel Base) Gp B
Peugeot 205 T16 Gp B
These three cars are just the meat!
As for American metal, well it'd have to be a Shelby Cobra, that thing rocks 8)
And if I only had one car for the rest of my life, well a Ferrari 250 GTO

Ps. I'm a biker, hand over your big bad Kawasakis and Hondas here!!!!

I'm not a big fan of nitrous-I just don't like chemical horse power. I guess I have been raised to believe that there's no replacement for displacement. You want more hp, build a bigger engine. Nitrous always seemed cheap to me.

How about a Cutlass W-30?
Here is my dream 'Car' It is a Harley Davidson FLSTS Heritage Springer Softtail. It is 1340 cc's of pure American fun in the sun. The Springer front end is non-negotiable.
About the only thing I would do to it is different pipes and get rid of the bitch seat. My second choice is a Fat Boy...

How about this "car":
, but i dunno how she behaves on an interstate ?
I think the turns will be hard. And the brakes....
But would be quite fun.
In Germany someone landed on an Autobahn (sth. like an interstate), cause he was out of fuel and couldn´t reach a n airport. He got some fuel, and took off again.
Here in Germany you are allowed to do so, if you are really in trouble, and there is not much traffic.
(Hey darling, what are those three dents in the roof ?
And where is that plane, which came so deep across ?)

Actually, Grosvenor House and the other DH88's are probably the most economical on fuel out of all the vehicles on this thread. 28 miles to the gallon. Thats more than a lot of modern cars do.

Maybe so, but by the time you'd seen it in your rear view mirror it would have speared you with that pointy nose and then you'd have to go where it wanted.
And remember, its super sonic so by the time you hear it it's already way past you.

Very good choice indeed Ozzy !
The 205 T16 is one of my favorites ever ! The Audi is not too bad either, and it has the best sound one can ever hear !
My dream car is the Catheram. It handles great and can beat any sportscar on a twisty track ! Top speed speed is rather low, but who cares ? That's not where the fun is, imho... (BTW, it's also very cheap !)

I've got the Pikes Peak stuff, I've also got some short clips of the T16 and Quattro (and I do mean short!) backed up on a CD somewhere... I'm hopelessly disorganised lately.
PM me with what you have and I'll try and find what I have and we can compare notes

You'd have a hard time persuading the police that it was all for your own consumption though...

Alright,I suppose a 2400hp-Sabre in the back would be quite useful if you see police cars in the rear mirror which are following the white smoke trail...

Zactly.
I was thinking more along the lines of street drag racing. You pull up at some traffic lights along side some gonad in a done up Fiesta, make some snide comments about how crap and slow his car looks. And when he challenges you to a race, you accept, and beat him by a mile. Because you have 2400hp while he has 200 at the most.

How about the Bugatti EB 16.4 VEYRON
It´s a car built around the engine. The Design of the car is cool, but the specs:
1001 HP (REALLY)
16Cyl. 7993ccm Engine
7gears
3sec. for 0-60MPH
252 MP/H
What do ya think about that...

Ya know, in my opinion-thats more power than I would ever want/need. I have already mentioned my "dream car" and for me-I would want a car that could be driven on the street.
For example, I'm currently in the process of figuring out how I'm going to build the engine for my car. With all of the componets I'm plan on using (as of right now)-that includes a 396ci big block, Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum heads, XE274 cam, and much more (I don't want to list it all-as it might get confusing)-I expect to get somewhere betwen 440-475hp. This all in a car that will weigh about 3600 lbs. For anyone who has ever been in a car with that kind of power, trust me-thats plenty for the street.
As far as a 1001hp car, that would be cool-but all it could be used for is the drag strip. So, therefore I wouldn't really want a car like that (unless I wanted a race car).
Anyway, thats just my opinion.

Yeah sure, your car for example is very cool too, (I like american muscle), and you´re right, you won´t need that much HP, but it sounds cool ,a car with 1001 HP, but if you look at the price, (something about 1.000.000$) your car is really the better one. And the taxes are higher too.

I think I will never have the money to buy all my dreamcars. Anyway as a 3d artist you can build all cars you want and drive them in any videogame. This is better than only some pics

For which game are you doing them ?
I have a cool Gt500e for GTA VC, that´s quite cool.
But the quality of the cars you are doing there is quiet amazing.

I make them for different games, like mafia, nfs or gta. But I don't import them. I have no idea how to do that because I don't have the essential tools

Yeah GTA is easy, you just need to have a *.dff and a *.txd file. Than it´s easy.

What 3d design program are you using?
Ever thought about thinking along the lines of GMax conversion for use in FS? This is an area that WILL grow in time - as scenery & PC power develops ..... virtual Route 66 awaits

Dream vehicle....?
Let's see
#1: an F-650 T-Rex
And a Caddy G LAV-300. Faster and more mobile than a full size tank.
No more getting stuck in rush-hour traffic for me.
Any moment, everything can change, Feel the wind on your shoulder, For a minute, all the world can wait, Let go of your yesterday. Can you hear it calling? Can you feel it in your soul? Can you trust this longing? And take control, Fly! Open up the part of you that wants to hide away! You can shine, Forget about the reasons why you can't in life, And start to try, cause it's your time, Time to fly. - H.D., Fly

The S7 is nice.
As you told about Amphibious Tanks, i would Choose the LAV_25 Piranha Air Defender, it has 8 Wheels, a Minigun, and 4 Stinger Rockets, i think. Maybe that would help keeping the Highways Free...

I'd like to have a BTR70 or a Stryker.
Basically the armored vehicles from the game "Joint Operations". Oh,and a Mi-26 or Ch-47 to fly them to any destination I want to go to.

For me, right now my dream car would be the finished variant of my car. And, since I can only dream about it (since I don't have the money to complete it)-it will remain my dream car for a while longer.

Ever seen a King Tiger swimming?
If it comes to land-only heavy metal, the King Tiger is of course my first choice. Or a Leopard 2A4. Depending on the era...

I like the Leo 2A5 more, i like that Armour on the Turret.
And i would choose a Tiger I better than a King Tiger.
The Armour could resist a 88mm Shell.
Or maybe a Sturmtiger, with a 38cm Mortar - Gun. You could blast away anything.
Or on the Railways the Dora, 80cm Railway Gun. One Bullet weights something around 1.5 tons.
You could just blast it from France to Britain.
Just Imagine a poor Hurricane flying on Patrol, hit by that thing....
I wouldn´t like to be the Pilot in it.
