Problem with Marauder (Read 163 times)

I have downloaded the B-26 Marauder by David Eckert, the new one, for 2k2 and 2k4.
But theres some funny Feedback, i have the Logitek Wingman Force, its some years old, but its doing quite well. But with this plane, the Stick is just shaking, everytime during flight, its nearly unflyable that way. I tried to change the Force-Feedback part of the Aircraft.cfg, but it didnt help.
Does anyone know how to fix sth. like that ?

Regards, Mr.Mugel

This may not help, but here's what I do in similar situations ... delete the air file and paste one from a similar A/C, in this case maybe a B-25, into the B-26 folder and reneame the new file.

Mr. Mugel, can you post the actual settings you are currently using in your aircraft.cfg file please, then we'll see if we can't fix the problem.

I´ve tried to replace the aircraft.cfg with the one from alphasims freeware b-26, except of the beginning (Aircraft Name and so on). But everything was wrong, the plane was above ground while rolling, the viewpoint was wrong and so on. But the damn feedback didnt change.
So i restored the aircraft.cfg and now the feedback part is like this:
[forcefeedback]
stick_shaker_magnitude=5000             ; 0 - 10000
stick_shaker_direction=0                ; 0 - 35999 degrees
stick_shaker_period=111111              ; in microseconds
gear_bump_nose_magnitude=3000           ; 0 - 10000
gear_bump_nose_direction=18000          ; 0 - 35999 degrees
gear_bump_nose_duration=250000          ; in microseconds
gear_bump_left_magnitude=2700           ; 0 - 10000
gear_bump_left_direction=9000           ; 0 - 35999 degrees
gear_bump_left_duration=250000          ; in microseconds
gear_bump_right_magnitude=2700          ; 0 - 10000
gear_bump_right_direction=27000         ; 0 - 35999 degrees
gear_bump_right_duration=250000         ; in microseconds
ground_bumps_magnitude1=1300            ; 0 - 10000
ground_bumps_angle1=08900               ; 0 - 35999 degrees
ground_bumps_intercept1=3.0
ground_bumps_slope1=0.20
ground_bumps_magnitude2=200             ; 0 - 10000
ground_bumps_angle2=09100               ; 0 - 35999 degrees
ground_bumps_intercept2=1.075
ground_bumps_slope2=0.035
crash_magnitude1=10000                  ; 0 - 10000
crash_direction1=01000                  ; 0 - 35999 degrees
crash_magnitude2=10000                  ; 0 - 10000
crash_direction2=9000                   ; 0 - 35999 degrees
crash_period2=75000                     ; in microseconds
crash_duration2=2500000                 ; in microseconds

Shall i post anything else, or is that enaugh ?

And thanks for your help.

Just in case you misunderstood; replace the AIR FILE IE,
A-26.AIR, not the aircraft cfg file and try it
