There were some night effects that I installed from avsim. Can't remember the name of the file, but they arent bad. Better from a distance (10K ft or higher)  than up close.

My life is like the movie Office Space

I have not tried this night enhancement, but i would recommend you try it, back up the original files just incase you don't like it.

There's a file at AVSIM (I also can't remember the names) that modify the street lighting at night.  There's another that fixes the blinking radio tower lights.

The Airport Environment Upgrade (AEU) I believe also fixes some runway and taxiway lights.

All worthwhile add ons.

Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&www.google.com
