Hi to Everyone,

We have great scenery & great aircraft for CFS2,  but no sonic boom when you break the sound barrier.

Is it possible to do this ?
Just wondered if anyone knows of it.

Hi Otto,

Im not sure if this is any help to you - it might just be a freak effect with my cfs2- but ive noticed that when i'm flying one of my cfs2 jets at around 17 thousand ft i get an interesting faint "boom" when my plane passes through the sound barrier - but no external effects.

As you know, CFS2 has no default sound files for jet aircrfat, so ive had to use a compatable jet-sound from FS2000, maybe this is what is causing the explosion. [?]

As for an actual effect, i'd be really interested to know if anyone out there has a sonic boom for cfs2 - but i dont think there is one yet.

Hey Ed,
          Thanks for the tip.
I downloaded Steve Mc Clelland's FAR EAST scenery & have been to most of those places in Viet Nam & Thailand.
I use the Wickston jet sound mostly & haven't noticed anything.
Seen a lot of 104's & 105's head out from Korat AFB for missions in Viet Nam.
Just thought maybe some one had  something out there.
Sure would be nice huh ?
