Hi i have been having some juddering problems in the game and whilst getting these problems my framerate was set at 35, could this be the reason why i have been getting these problems because i have now knocked the framerate down to 26 and at the moment dont seem to be getting the juddering anymore ?

The problem is gone because you've taken the burden off your card. It's focusing on rendering an image at only 26fps instead of 35. It has to work a little less in displaying the image.

The FX5800 looks like a nice card. You'll most definately get improved preformance and improved image quality. It's done quite well on recent benchmark tests.

NO avoid the FX5800 aka the hairdryer, it is very loud.  It is the loudest thing you have ever heard in a computer, they don't even make them anymore because of this.  Look at a FX5900, these are equally fast and are much quieter.

I have my settings locked at 24 fps.  There is a slight difference, but most people cannot really tell, between 24 and higher.  This is the ideal setting in my opinion. Grin
