Not sure where this should go but I posted it here because I thought this is where any replies might most benefit people.
Basically I wanted to know if it was possible to assign an axis to active camera. for example assign it to a joystick to go backwards, forwards, left and right.
Any suggestions?

The only answer I can give is, while in the virtual cockpit, you don't need Active camera to pan the view.

You can assign panning to any axis you want. For a while I wasn't using the throttle on my yoke so I assigned left/right panning (don't remember the actual function) to the throttle.  I just didn't like the forward/backward motion being translated to side/side.

Or are you talking about being in walking mode. I'm sure (through FSUIPC) there is a way to translate axis into keypresses)

What do computers and air conditioners have in common?...
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.
