Here are two from my weekend....first Sunday, then Monday.....

...

...

There is more of each day, but I only wanted to see if there was any interest first.....I think I may hog too much space on here, without realizing.....

Nice one Ken. R/C floatplanes. Wink Something I always wanted to have a go at but never got the chance. Never seen one either as there's not too many places around here for that sort of thing. This might sound silly with the English Channel on my doorstep but there it is. I think some of the guys might have tried it in the old days when the tide was out but that was before the bus fares went up. Finding somewhere to fly ordinary land models is difficult enough these days. Roll Eyes

I would like to see more. Post all you want as far as I'm concerned.  Wink

Wow, I could get into RC planes but I can't stand the thought of accidentally flying it outside of my RC range and watching hundreds of dollars crash or fly away into the horizon!

Nither have I. I'm told that some of the guys at the flying club use floats to fly off the snow in winter. Skis can sometimes get stuck so that's why they use floats instead.

That's very rare. Happened at my flying club. Some guy's plane actually wound up in the United States! Actually he crashed it into the small stream behind the club's field and the plane floated out into Lake Ontario.  Grin Actually did wind up in the US.
Most radios have a range of over a mile. As long as you keep it in sight, your fine.

If your interested in R/C flying Meyekul, talk to me or Rifleman. There are a few other R/C pilots here as well.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.
