glideslope indicators on jets etc? (Read 218 times)

Where is the glideslop indicator located in the panel on jet aircraft? The VASI doesn't work too well in fog.

Normally it should pop up on the right of the EADI/PFD  when you pick the the GS signal.

Can't you see it at all?
Do you have a LOC signal?

Wait, you mean they tell you the glide slope in a aircraft? ??? I didn't know that, maybe thats why the lights are always red for me Grin

White over red you'll be ok
Red over red you'll soon bang your head..

Once you set an ILS landing freq the VOR1 (usually on GA) or a display I forgot its name, gives you the glideslope...

How and when you should descend.

You must also make sure that the radio section in a planes aircraft cfg file is correct, so that nav1 has the glide slope 8)
