Hi Craig:

Shot #1 is really interesting...is that all sand with the tide out...all those trailers to the left can you say what they are for.  Also it looks like a farming community is that correct?

Thanks for posting Smiley

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Wow! That's really nice over there Craig! We have bunkers and WWII goodies over here where I live (Whidbey Island) that were used to fend off Japanese ships who tried to enter a major naval base deeper in the sound. There were three of them and they formed a and if you looked at them from above and connected lines between them it would form a triangle and no one ever did enter it because it was a very dangerous place...Did you go into the bunkers?  Grin

Tsunami, yes i went in, but there really isnt much left of them, thankfully it seems teenagers have left them alone as there wasnt much in the way of grafitti around.
Doug yup thats all sand(or mud) this area of coastline, weston super-mare in particular is known for the fact that when the tide goes out it stays out a loooong way:) those caravans are all holiday caravans, this area is popular with birmingham folk. It is a farming community, but many farmers got tired of working the land, and saw they could make a killing by either selling it to caravan park owners, or setting up their own from another angle its just those things for miles
Thanks for the comments Smiley

Thanks Craig Smiley

Now I have one more dumb question for you if you don't mind: Smiley

A caravan is a trailer or what we in Canada call a trailer...it is towed by a car or small truck.
A motor home is self propelled and many are built on bus chassis.
What do you call a motor home there?

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
