I am having a problem with Windows media player 9 and streaming audio. No matter what stream I try to play it always displays this message:

"Windows Media Player cannot find the specified file. Be sure the path is typed correctly. If it is, the file does not exist at the specified location, or the computer where the file is stored is offline.".

The first place I went to find the problem was the network tab in the options menu but when I click on it it just brings the tab up and instantly puts it back again.
Any ideas?

What version of DivX are you running?
Also what codecs do you have installed? Could there be a conflict?

I don't have Divx and I haven't installed any new codecs since way before the problem started (It worked one day and not the next) I'll try updating them now.

I really feel dumb now, I don't know how to uninstall WMP9 so I can re-install it! I've tried running the setup you can download from Microsoft's WMP9 web site but it does not work, It tells me that it did not install succesfully! HELP!
