Hi Everybody,

I just upgraded my computer and I wonder how the veterans of the forums think it will do as far as graphics, frame rates, and such...

Windows XP Home Edition
AMD Athlon XP 2 GHz
768K RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro

Uhhh...What else is needed for an informed opinion?
Thanks for any feedback.

AMD Athlon XP? Is that a thing? But it's fast, so I can't say anything on that. And for RAM, you might as well go for the Gig. You'll be better off, and glad that you did. 9800 Pro, good choice. Also important, your sound card. I recommend the Creative Audigy 2 ZS. And always make sure you have the latest drivers.
Graphics will be superb, you will see a lot of 9800 pictures in the Gallery section, look around there. And framerates, jack those settings up.

Ahhhhh.......I feel like I can breathe again. I have been going crazy with a Radeon 7000/64megs for quite some time. Is it safe to say that according to your response I'll be able to actually have scenery and clouds in effect without my simulation looking like an epilectic siezure?
