hey there peeps gotta slight problem. using fsds elevated landing surface

working on an aircraft carrier the model is ready to be exported into fs but obviously there will be no landing surface for it.

i have created a polygon the same shape as deck surface and clicked on create elevated landing surface. entered the elevation and clicked on then saved it as a scasm file.. exported the bgl for the model of the carrier and i cannot land on it still?

do i need to place the scasm file in the same folder as the model or is there something else i have missed out.. any ideas at all would be great

thanx
