Allrighty, I know we are all feeling the decrease of money in our pocketbooks, and I was wondering what is the most we have paid for gas in the past month or two...

To do this we need a city, and price per gallon, and if available total amount to fill up...Smiley

Just the other day I payed 2.04 for 87 octane (Cheap stuff). I couldn't tell you exactly what the total amount was as I've already lost the receipt....

So what's it like other places?

this will be a very touchy subject for us UK readers. Your complaining your paying $2 a gallon, we pay close to $8 in some places more.

It was $2.38 for 87 octane here yesterday!  Right now, $2.08 sounds very nice.   Shocked

Not to mention one of my cars needs 92 octane to run right (which is $2.58 ) or the engine pings!!!

In Hungary the average is about $6 a gallon, and the average Hungarian wage is about 30 times LESS than the American equivilant Shocked So I'm afraid I find it hard to sympathise with any of my American cousins complaining!
Hence why I have a lot of other things on the boil to pay the bills and keep me sky-diving and things. Also why I have 3 jobs Shocked Shocked Shocked
However I've just got some great petrol price jokes from Wendy so I'll go and put them in the jokes forum in a min. to cheer us all up Grin

If you read the beginning post, I wasn't really complaining...

I noticed a change in the fuel situation here in my city, and asked other people what is was like where they are...Wink
