I've created some landing lights that work fine in the external and VC views but they don't work in the 2d panel view. The default Cessna has a landing light in this view so I was wondering how It was done. And if the same process is used in FS9 (for future compatability).

I use FSDS v2.24.

Thanks

Hi
Ok goto add model  in the drop down list you will see front model select this, next copy the landing lights also the gear legs and any animated parts the landing lights are attached to from the main model and paste them into the front model.
HulllllaluYa we have lights in 2d
ya can also copy the props here so ya can see em in the 2d cockpit shhhhhh don't tell anyone Smiley only down side is the front model in the sim is only rendered from 0 to about 20ft so the props disappear, still like the effect of seeing the prop in 2d whilst taxing/startup
