How many of you out there are in a band?  If so, what instrument(s) do you play and give us a link to any websites if you have them.

mine is:  www.bellaunionband.com

I play mostly bass guitar (and some lead), and I do some lead and backup vocals as well.

Jim

I play tenor sax and piano. As yet no one has been foolish enough to invite me to play in a band. Grin

I play (or attempt to play) trumpet, cornet, euphonium, baritone (almost the same instrument as euphonium), and I'm picking up tuba to play next year in (school [junior high]) band.   I also can almost play piano.  I guess if its a brass instrument with buttons, I can play it, although I haven't learned how to read french horn yet.  Better put that on my to-do list.

I play jazz piano, having played classical piano for about 15 years. Want to come and play in a band, Woodlouse2002? My regular tenor player nearly chopped his finger off and can't play for weeks! Tongue

Hi there.
I play guitar for a band named SoniX. Weve been together for about 18 months and weve finished our first album. The other 3 members are 18 and I am 15.
Me and another guitarist alternate between Lead and Rhythm Guitar.
In fact we have a gig in a week or two at a local pub. £250 for an hour set. not too shabby.
If you want to check out our music VISIT:

www.SoniXonline.co.uk

cheers.

I haven't touched a musical instrument for about 6 years but I played drums in a rock & roll group right through the 60s. We could play most styles of dance music & this lasted for about 12 years altogether. I also play guitar quite well (used to anyway) & keyboard badly. Roll Eyes

Started guitar in 1964 mid-summer. Played in a late 60's ('67-'70) band here in Miami Florida, we got as far as being almost the first band around here to play Doors, then '71-'73 in another group, playing mostly British rock: Sabbath, Tull, Crimson, then years of seriously studying classical guitar (we had a Cuban-born Master Pedagogue here and I met many of his students) and finally wound up improvising nylon-string jazz.  Taught guitar for 7 years in the '70's.  And somewhere in there studied harpsichord for 6 years. So hey, flight-simming sure is a relief these days.  I'm burned out!!

Hi

Drums, Drums and a bit more Drums. I'm in a band called "Green is not your enermy". Had hard time recently band wise, bass player left, so got a new one...didn't like him so he's gone now. So knows theres just two people me and a lead guitar player. Plan to be the new Keane (Uk band, 3 people , drums, bass, piano) but with two people.

Orchestral percussion. Scientist by training and profession, I'm a musician by passion (with a bit of FS thrown in!) and have ended up as a percussionist in the Sussex Symphony Orchestra based in Brighton, UK.

Mostly hymns from recent church shows. Guaranteed to wake you up if you start to doze on a long flight.

I´m singer and guitarist in a band named "the Garbage Connection", actually has NOTHING to do with the band "garbage"....we just play our music, not very well, but....It´s only Rock´n´roll, but we like it.....i´m still practicing on the vocals, they might sound more like "the vines" (although i´m not a fan of these guys)  than on the recordings when i play live, i was told so by the audience Grin

if you like to visit us:
