Found this over at Airliners. Amazing looking plane and I'm sure it can't be a production model. Anyone know anything about it?

It's about the only racing Mustang without a Merlin engine. "Precious Metal" sports a Griffon.

A Mustang with a Griffon!? My prayers have been answered!
Man, I'll bet that's a beautiful sounding plane!
There is no way this thing was ever a stock P-51. The fuselage looks a lot bigger around, the tail is about half again as tall, and the oil cooler intake was relocated (oddly enough, in the same place as the Mustang prototype) back to the top of the nose. The radiator vent is a lot longer, and then there is the canopy and the contra-rotating props. I'm betting this thing is a totally new plane adapted from the Mustang design.

I've seen pictures of her before, but I didn't realise she had a Griffon engine. That is pretty mad!!!! And she'd need the contra-rotating props otherwise she'd just taking in circles from the engine torque
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

There was another Griffon engined Reno Mustang at one time also called "World Jet" but I'm not sure if that one is still around. I guess they needed to add a Real engine to play with the big boys in their Sea Furies
