I just downloaded CrashBak, i installed it, opened it, and enabled the stuff in the .exe program.  I enabled it for the B747-400, and went into the game, and crashing one wing into a building.  All that happened was the wing flew off the plane, and i crashed into the ground.  There was no explosion or anything.  Is there something i have to do to make the explosion happen?

Hmmm...I promise the program DOES work, because I've got it and love it.

One thing I'd suggest is to not do too "extreme" of a crash.  If it's a more natural wreck, you get much better results.

More natural?  Is that crashing into the ground?  Oh and one thing didn't work in the installer.  When it goes to the font installer thing, it just gets stuck, so i intalled it to the desktop, and it installed and got stuck on the font installer thing again.  But the .exe thing was still on the desktop, so i opened it.  Can anyone give me a step-by-step instruction thing to get it working?  I have Windows XP so that could be affecting it ???

All help is greatly appreciated...

XP shouldn't have anything to do with it.  I run XP as well.

As for what I meant by "natural".....don't do a 180 degree nose down dive.  You won't get much.  But if you clip a wingtip, you'll get a nice show.

Try contacting the author and asking him.  I've found him to be quite helpful.

Definitely contact the author.  He'll most likely be able to help you.  His contact info should be in there somewhere.  If not, PM me.

Is that the Grant Bovee program?  If so I think you will find him to be easy to contact and very helpful.

The full version of CrashBak is payware, and worth the few dollars. I did the testing on the later versions from Grant and think its one of the most fun add-ons there is in 2k2. I actually got to enjoy crashing Shocked Grin
Grant is a v.nice guy, and v.willing to help.

Pretty amusing to see some folks actually wishing for a crash to view effects!  Grin

lol...once you see what this thing does, you're even more careful (not Ozzy) to land in the correct position.
