i hay a software that permit you install all the files belonging to a scenery. the program permit you to choose teh diferents files belonging to a scenary and insert it in three diferents folders. the bgl files are insert in the scenary folder, the bmp files and the others files  are inserted in the texture folder, but i dont know if the af files are inserted in the texture folder or in the main fs2k texture folder. i only have problems with dinamyc scenaries no with statics scenaries. some body can help me? For starters stay away from software like that, as you have no control as to where it puts things. As a rule of thumb most addon scenery textures go in a folder named texture for that scenery.
I would put them in the texture folder of the scenery and not in the main texture folder.
This way if you do not like it all you have to do is to remove the scenery folder  8)

Look for a readme file it should tell you where to put what
any bgl file goes into the scemery folder. The easiest way to find out where the bmp filles go is to double click on them they will open and if you see ground or trees then they go in the texture file otherwise put them in the scenery file along with the bgl files I beleive the af files are afcad files they can go into the scenery folder or th subfolder for the scenery  8)
