Help! Game crashes on loading suddenly! (Read 338 times)

OK I changed nothing, worked fine last night. Suddenly today the game crashes when the loading menu gets to "adjusting scenery objects" and crashes on 68%...

whats wrong! I took out my fs9.cfg file and that still didn't fix it. Help!

p4 3.2
1 gb ddr 3200 ram
win xp
sb audigy 2 platinum ex
250 gb hard drive
fx5950 ultra w/ latest nvidia drivers

hey
i heard somewhere that fs2004 conflicts with nvidia video cards.

just a thought, you probly should post this in the hardware forum to get a better reply from people that know

Did you just update your drivers ??? If so remove the update and go back to your old drivers. Both myself and my son have had problems with updated navida drivers and have had to revert to the old ones. Just the other day I downloaded a update for geforce 5200 and it is giving me all kinds of strange problems luckyly I made a restore point before I updated so all i have to do is to go back to that restore point and that should take care of the problem. 8)

on 68%... that's weird

the (known) season bug CTD's at around 50-55%

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones), Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

This happened to me once and I ended up having to reinstal the entire windows system. There must of being alot of problems though with the PC.

Try changing your time of year. Anchorage Alaska crashes on me every spring. I think I'm missing some files from Garrish Gray's tree package. If that doesn't work then try changing the order of any add on sceneries in your library. Sometimes that will fix crash problems. Also try a different airport.
