i've got GC malta Spitfires campaign, runs great, cant get the BoB Hurricanes to work properly, the airstarts are OK,as soon as i load the Kenley base it goe's pear shaped ! i think it's the Euro scenery (Steve McLellands i'm using) & it's not compatable, any suggestions? do i need another Euro scenery from some where? a lot of the planes in their planes list are not about anymore, i've got over that in MIssion Builder no problem, loathe to change from Steves scenery tho'  it's so good. Sad

Pear shaped? no base appears & starts stuttering & jumping, take the Kenley out & it's OK again still no base but it flys properly.

Happ. I haven't tried this campaign & Mathias might like to add his comments. Knowing the quality of the GC work I'm sure it was carefully tested before being released. Make sure you RTFM (read the instructions) carefully & install everything properly. This is most important with all 3rd party campaigns. All aircraft used in the campaign are listed & should still be available.

I'm not sure if the recommended Kenley scenery is compatible with Steve's mesh. Make sure you edit airbases.dat according with the instructions. To find out if there's a conflict you can temporarily deactivate the mesh from the Scenery Library.

As you say Hagar, cut Steves scenery & it works, i'll stick with the airstarts i'm not missing much.
I see what you mean with you not liking auto-instals, the ships on the GC Malta Spitfires are auto's and it sprayed them all over the main CFS2 folder  !! instead of were they were supposed to be, needed to open & name folders in ships/ scenery & cut & paste from a temp folder to make them work, but hey if it was easy there'd be no fun in it  Grin

Glad you finally fixed it. Now you understand why I'm against auto-install in principle. As this is a GC package I'm sure it will work if you direct the install to the correct location. As always, read the instructions carefully first.

I never use auto-install files myself, except my own when testing them before unleashing them on the public. This might sound hypocritical but these things are so popular these days. The least I can do is to make sure they work as advertised PROVIDING people read the instructions. Roll Eyes Wink
