Sure.  If you really want to, you can just switch the aircraft in mid-flight.  Just press ALT, then use the menu bar to find the aircraft changing menu.  Select your aircraft you wish to use and voila!   As for having this happen automatically, it would be possible, but you would have to write a *.dll file for it, and I have no clue how to do that.
