Well I went to collect my little Stampe in Prague this morning

Just check the engine quickly before the next flight
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Great flying Mark and a fantastic aeroplane
Always like to see posts of bi-planes, tri-planes, float planes and flying boats. I think they are Great.
Thanks for posting that one.

The Stampe really is a great aircraft. Are there other ones like her out there?
(I've already got the Waco Classic)

I'm not sure if there are a lot of bipes out there. There was an outstanding Stearman Kaydet that came out for FS2002. Works in FS2004. You can get it here.
There are a few early biplanes over at Avsim including the Curtiss Kruse, Reimes Racer, and Vin Fiz (here as well). There are a few WW1 aircraft including the excellent Sopwith Coukoo.
If you want to spice things up and add an extra wing. There are three excellent WW1 tripes at Sim-Outhouse. The Sopwith Triphound, the Fokker DR1, and the Pfalz DR1.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

Björn if you want great classic planes then check out the Golden Eagle Sqn. at
http://windrfters.com/index.htm
as Bill Lyons has recently let a number of his aircraft become freeware (packages 1-5 I believe), which includes the Tiger Moth, Ryan, Piper Cub, Waco and Swift these packages also include a 1930s Ford V8, a Willys Jeep and a couple of boats

Mark,I'm not living in the back of the Black Forest, where I'm unable to get access to news (
)....I know about Bill's awesome gifts to the freeware community since it became public.
And I've already said that I've got Bill's Waco.
Just need to re-download his STA,then,I've got his complete freeware-collection on my HDD...call me a freak if you want.

ark that last shot is beautiful!
Better start her back up and get her off the runway before she gets squashed!
Nice work!
