I downloaded an update to the default b747 flight dynamics and it replaces the aircraft.cfg, .air file and the reference and checklist files...

I am wondering what is the air file supposed to be named?  How does flight sim know which airfile to use? Does it need to be named the same as the folder name(b747_400) in the main aircraft folder?

Thanks,
Alex

I believe the answer lies in the following line of the aircraft.cfg:

sim=Boeing747-400

The sim=        Should be the name of the .air file not the folder

So then this is correct, right?

sim=Boeing747-400

Boeing747-400.air

Thank you for the replies!
