Hi,

Does anyone have Fred Banting' s DHC-2 Turbo Beaver? Have you experienced any problem with the comm and nav frequencies? IN fact they don't seem to change even the knobs (+/-) are located and pressed accordgingly, the display does not change. The other parts of the radio stack (ADF, Transpoder) work fine. I have installed the "on wheels" version but I think it is the same for the rest (same gauge, same panel.cfg).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Although I do not have the plane you mention. The problem you describe sounds like a common problem with downloads. Open the air craft cfg file for that plane scroll down to the radio section and make sure it looks like the following:
nav_1=1,0,1
nav_2=1,0,0

The three numbers after nav_1 mean
first number radio available 0=no 1=yes
second number standby 0=no 1 =yes
third number has glide slope 0=no 1=yes

I did not show the complete radio list, but you should get the idea. For some reason I have found downloads that either do not have this section or leave out the nav_1 and nav_2 entries.

If you need the complete listing just check the default King Air 350 Or any other Default aircraft .

Although I cannot test it yet (I am not at home) I remember the second arguement (standby is 1 for both comm and nav). So, this has to be the problem.
Many thanks.
