hi, I'm having prblms with a mesh, it makes my fs crash whenever I go there or pass near it!the prblm is that I think I have more than one mesh to the same place wich prob makes fs crash!the prblm is that I really don't remember where I have one of the meshes to remove it...

Is there any way of seing wich files are being used as meshes for a particular area?

thks Smiley

I have never heard of a mesh causing fs to crash. Perhaps the mesh has a corupt file in it. Even if you were to have a area more than once FS would use the last one loaded. By that I mean each scenery has a level and a order in which it is loaded so if you had two it would simply overwrite the first with the second. If the mesh has more than one BGL file in it try removing all but one and see if you still have the problem. Then put them back one at a time trying after each file is put back. If it only has one bgl file it may be corrupt try downloading it again. 8)
The scenery cfg file will show you what files it is using for each area just print it out it is in the main FS folder and is a TXT file. Then look through it to see if you use the same file more than once. But I do not think that would cause a problem. 8)

thks Smiley but it seems to me it prob is a texture and not the mesh. I tryed to go to the problematic location by night and it worked fine, but when I changed to day it crashed, so prob something to do with the textures..

thks:)

I agree it does sound like a texture problem try moving the texture folder out of FS and see what happens I have several mesh files that do not have any texture in them at all, I do not see where this would create a problem by removing them 8)
