although shumi get into rivalrys with everyone he meets, this really has me scared.  as you saw on sunday JP tried to pass MS on the outside on lap 1 at imola.  I found this on F-1live:

On Sunday afternoon in Imola, Juan Pablo Montoya drove his BMW- Williams racer beside a celebratory Michael Schumacher and started waving his arms about. Schumacher, Ferrari's star, signalled back in thanks.

« I thought you were congratulating me, » the German told Montoya afterwards.

JPM, the riled Colombian, had just explained to the media that Michael must be either 'blind or stupid' for not noticing an attempted overtaking move on lap-1.

Evidently, Montoya had given the world champion a universal finger sign. « I never congratulate you, actually » Juan Pablo clarified.

If you were trying to overtake Juan Pablo Montoya, would you expect mercy? That's the stance racing boss Sir Frank Williams is taking in light of the Colombian's damning appraisal of the behaviour of Michael Schumacher at Imola.

« It's not fair to say it's all Michael » said Frank. He told Autosport: « Ten out of ten to Juan for trying, and I'm glad he got away with it - but you do take a risk when you try to go around the outside. »

Unsurprisingly, Ferrari boss Jean Todt also supported Schumacher. « Maybe Montoya should think before he makes comments like that, he said. « Would he put his arm out to wave Michael through? No way. »

This could build thoughout the year and in future years and really cause some bad sh** to go down.

montoya is getting desperate, he knows he cant win and can barely compete with BAR. Schumi had the racing line in that battle he was within his rights doing what he did. If montoya really did give him the finger after the race then this prooves what a sore looser he is and should be fined. BMW have already said if they dont get what they want from these F1 changes over the next few years they are leaving. Well i say good riddance, they havetn been in the sport more than 5 maybe 6 years. They are still a baby team, who havent even been consistantly competitive, and they are in no place to make demands. Bring back williams renault i say, best team to ever race.
side note Ferrari are seriously considering Button to replace schumacher when he retires.
