I have a Idea of a airplane that has never been built yet. for a designer to add a water landing gear to it and a water rudder to A Boeing 737 or another big jet like that.

Sounds like it could be done.
Probably would download it and try it out if someone did make it.
Of course I would settle for the spruce goose if someone would be interested in making that  Grin!

Hey! That's my idea.
I brought it up my first few weeks here.
There was some progress, but I never say the project completed.

just one question... how would you keep the water from going into the engines? Grin

unless you're thinking of some major changes to it Roll Eyes

i had this idea of making a canard 737... it would have the wings swept forward like an X-29(?) and with negative dihedral... also the elevators would be up front, and would swing down when you lower flaps

it would look sorta somewhat like this:

Mount them on top of the wings.

indeed please release it, but may i request that you include the apropriate handling configurations that would occur with that physical setup in the real world?

That looks rather stunning.   Cheesy
From a real-world aerodynamics POV the main wing should have positive dihedral if it's swept forward.  The mid-fuselage mounting is good as it gives a nice strong structure and is clear of the cabin.  Lose the fin and mount the forwarsd canard in the roof and give it a positive dihedral.  This will give you natural yaw-coupling.

I hope you build it!

Here is something I was timkering with:

You could modify it so, that the wings are sweepable to vertical position. So that you would have a Vtol craft.

I saw a big green sea plane that the AI was flying.
Is there a large green {or other colors} sea plane made?
Like the size of a 747?

In real life - the Russians had the "Ekranoplanes", and the Martin P6M Seamaster I believe went supersonic in a dive.

No changes made to where the engines are to be placed because all u have to do is put the water landing gear up high enough so they are away from the water
