Dohertys Difficult and Dangerous Approaches are on AvSim.  24 freeware downloads, each with about 10 world approaches in a/c C150 to B737.  Highly entertaining.  Unrealistic in that a/c crosswind specs are not available on the sim and a number of apts do not report winds.
A/C are setup about 10 miles from apt reasonably close to runway heading.  Read intro. On open Pause sim.  Critical to download fuel 30 to 50 pct. Open Map and get vitals such as ATIS, runway length, alt, precision and identifier.
Garmin 500 is open. To set up GPS: NRST/Push CSR/D/Enter (apt) /Enter (activate) /FPL/FPL/TERR.  If the apt is down the list use the inner ring to scroll.  Precision is available at a few airports and can be added using PROC.  #24, AUS Canberra, can be setup GPS to ILS B737.  Use ATC window for ATIS and tower communications where available.   Set Nav as appropriate for the acft with GPS selection.  Use 5 or 10 mile scale in mountains.  Radar altimiter is helpful in the Caravan.  Toggle between 2D and 3D cockpits.  If mistake in selection just reselect and activate.  Happy landings!

So why would you land a Concorde in A/Burner?
