Does anybody who currently uses 727 professional know how to fix the nav radios?  I cant switch the frequencies.  I tried pasting in the radio section from other planes and then the dial wouldnt rotate.  Ive read about this bug, but havent heard of a solution yet.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Go to the aircraft cfg file for that plane and find the section that says radios
make sure you lines look like this

Audio.1=1
Com.1=1,0
Com.2=1,0
Nav.1=1,0,1
Nav.2=1,0,0
Adf.1=1,0
Transponder.1=1,0
Marker=1,0

The first number means avaliable
The second number is standby mode
The third number is for the glide slope
the numbers for Nav1 mean it is avaliable no standby and has glide slope
A bunch of air craft designers forget to set these up right and when they do not the radio is useless. 8)

First thing is that I did not know that the 727 pro was payware. I only saw a pic of it but I could not find out where to download it from. That is why I asked you for it...

Hi, Gary, I did what you said and it did activate the radios, however, I cant get any numbers past the decimal.  I have had radio problems before that I was able to fix, but this is new to me.  I can get 108, 109, etc, but it wont allow me to change the .30.  Nav 1 is locked at X.30 and Nav 2 locked at Y.80.  Someone reported this problem on another site, but others using 727 professional seem to have no problems.  This is the disk version for 2004.  Thanks

I had the same problem with the 727 I use.
This is what you need to do. Move the mouse over the radio dial untill you see a + sign not a - sign with the + sign showing leftclick this should allow you to alter the decimals if you continue moving the mouse to the left of the knob at some point in time when you left click it will allow you to alter the entire frequency. This gauge just works this way So far I have not come accross this with any other gauge.

Falcon, to his defense though...this thread was moved from the FS2004 forum to this forum (payware)

When Cybersurf wrote his message the thread still resided on the FS2004 board  Smiley

Mabey you could try copying the entire Defult panel folder from the Boeing 737-400. That should give you a operative Radio Stack. Also make sure that you remove the 727 Pro Panel to a safe place for back up
