Ah, just wondering because I have a Screw and Rivet tube that he might like, but they're for PSP. I'm not sure if they would work in PhotoShop though ???

as most of you might know - i sertainly can hold my own when it comes to repainting! heck, i even have this funky banner at the bottom (see bottom of post)
BUT...
Ive started repainting my Vintage aircraft collection, and i dunno how to get the planes looking 'well used'
if anyone has any effects and how to paint them
that would be much appreciated.
eg...my RAF Corsair! its a bit plain!
thanks8)

What you'll want to explore when adding weathering/aging/usage effects is a technique called "Masking".
I'm sorry I don't have time to make a detailed tutorial on all the things I've learned since I started painting, but look up masking on all the popular tutorial sites (not FS sites but PSP or Photoshop sites) and give it a stab like I did...I just played with it until I figured it out...the absolute best way to learn and retain.

hi there.
This is a more recent one where i have used more aging. Nothing drastic as it is meant to look quie new but i have dirtied the undercarriage and tail slightly. i dont this a good few months ago now.
atm im painting new planes for a VA and dont thing rusted parts would be quite appropriate.
thanks, esp streve,
