The ten pound hammer finally drove it into my head how to use FSSC to put scenery onto an airport in FS9 Smiley
And I was able to make my first object with Nove, (Not sure if I like it yet).

The problem is my building appears stark white, I put textures on it with Nove and all appeared to be fine until I ran FS9 and the building was there just white.

Any Ideas what I didn't do, or did wrong?

I've Got Airport for Windows but haven't figured out how to use it yet.

The textures, what format are they in?

Hi Steve, my guess is you put the scenery bgl into your scenery sub-folder of your scenery but you didn't copy the Nova textures into a texture sub-folder.

Right?

Hi Rollerball;  I put the api macros in a subfolder call mymacro and the textures in the textures subfolder, both are subfolders of FSSC/macro/mymacro....texture.

I'm thinking I should of put the bitmap textures in my main FS9 textures folder.

I don't really like Nova and when I can figure what directories AFW wants in the config window then I think I'll be able to use it.

I have figured out how to put a background image into FSSC and place objects onto it, and then into FS9.

Yep - you've done what I said.

You have to put the textures in the sim. You can't leave em in the design prog where they need to be initially while you're making your object.

If you've set it up right you can use the 'export' option of FSSC otherwise you have to put them over manually.
