I'm toying with the idea of experimenting with different drivers for my GeForce FX5200 card...anyone know which set is the best?  (I've only used the default drivers, but understand that different drivers can have different results.)

Thanks!

Mornin' Scott.

I'm using the latest Drivers downloaded from the NVidia Website for my 5600 Card.  I have found these to be substantialy more stable than the Beta versions that you can get from Guru3D.  Some of these were a little faster but the image quality IMHO is better now.

Thanks as always.  I'll give 'em a shot and see what happens.  If you don't hear from me for a while, they weren't that good.  lol

<EDIT>

Oooh, that's nice.  With EVERYTHING absolutely maxed (I mean every last slider) in broad daylight, above a major city, in SPOT, and with all sorts of useless crap running in the background that I was just too lazy to turn off....still pulled 10.

That's not too shabby.  lol

Just a note:

Guru3d offer the signed drivers AS WELL AS some beta drivers.

They have a very comprehensive range and history of video card drivers as well as many other useful tidbits.

The guru also trims the driver files down in size sometimes (they get rid of language translations etc) so downloading is easier, especially on dialup connections.

Guru3d also has the new 60.72 drivers which are the best yet for the FX5200.

I'm running them too. Great drivers. Some people had complained that Outlook was freezing after they installed them but I've never had that problem. I found that AA preformed better without a preformance hit but I keep it off just the same to keep the fps high.
