.
.but an updated one!
Guernsey - a channel island, betwee the english and french coasts is new and refurbished...i think it is even in action now. If anyone would like to update it then here is an easy job for you.
ive tried to find as many pics as possible of the new building and layout...this is what ive got!
http://www.guernsey-airport.gov.gg/GCI.gifhttp://www.wwr.org.uk/images/enlarged_5.jpghttp://www.hochtief.co.uk/profile-guernsey.htmlhttp://www.thisisguernsey.com/code/showfeaturesarticle.pl?ArticleID=000061I know it isnt much to go by but i do know that:
The staff and public are protected from the
elements by airside covered walkways leading from
the Terminal Building to all the main aircraft stands.
The new aircraft standing areas will be constructed
from PQ concrete bays.
I will also ry and find out runway lengths etc. but please have a shot..
The runway will be able to easily let 737s and 757s land but im not sure how much longer it is or whether bigger planes can land there!!????
thanks.
