I'm starting this thread to see how imaginative you lot are. I want to know what is your dream automobile? And don't no one go shouting out Porches or Vipers. Your real dream car. One that doesn't exist but could be made by customisation or some other method.

Now to start this off, my dream car would be a Volkswagen camper, of pre 1970 vintage, with a nice Rolls Royce Merlin stuck in the back. Think of the look on that boy racers face as you pull away from the traffic lights. Grin

Jaguar XJ220 with a V12 and twin turbochargers. Should result in 700+ hp.  8)
Or a DB-605 with Methanol injection instead of that V-12 (1300hp).
Eat my shorts, you goddamned Ferraris and FnF suckers!! Grin

yes wouldn't mind having a 36 L engine in my car either, might be a little loud though Roll Eyes

info: WWII aircraft engine making between 1,400-2,000 horsepower
12 cylinder
Benz

although for aircraft engines i would go with the PRATT & WHITNEY R-4360  (4000 hp, with 28 cylinders)
although i would also settle for the Napier Saber or the wright R-3350

Reminds me of the guy from Poland who built himself a Mercedes SLR for one fifth of the price of a "real" SLR.

Me thinks that I would just go with a regular old 67 Mustang... convertible of course! Smiley

Bright cherry red, black leather interior...

original 289... four on the floor...

light tan, or black top...

ooh...goosebumps are forming already...

either that or my uncles 63 Mustang with split rear-view window and all of that...unfortunately she was stolen a few years back...Sad
