I decided to give my newly purchased Citation X a spin. I wanted to test how far it could really go Grin I must admit I was quite impressed. I started at St.Marteen with a full tank of fuel then flew as far fown south america as I could. I traveled at 51,000ft at Mach 0.90 and flew until I had 40lbs of fuel left then searched for the nearest airport. The whole flight lasted just over 8 hours.

...
This is the flight plan I undertook. I followed the carribean islands until I saw the coase then flew south south east unitl I hiit the east coast and followed it until I was almost out of fuel then searched on GPS for the nearest airport.

...
Picking up all who dare try this adventure.

...
Seems no-one on the beach wants to be the victim of those huge engines Grin

...
This is after descending. I was searching for an airfield (they are damn hard to find in the dark when the ATC is none existent Roll Eyes ) and running out of fuel fast Grin

...
As you can see I just about made it.

I was quite impressed with this aircraft although I must say it is flippin difficult even just to learn how to turn it on lol Grin The are so many buttons and there are so many things that make it beep at you and the guy starts shouting things I almost had a breakdown lol. I learnt to use the autopilot just for this flight because you don't think I sat there for 8 hours do you? Grin

Oh and forgive the quality of the shots. I been having some trouble with my beloved FX5900 recently. This is the best I have manged to get although I think I am about to fix it Cheesy

Comments welcome Wink

Just purchased this plane myself. It is an awesome plane with more features than I will probably ever figure out how to use but the mechanic sure is cute!

Great pics Pete. And you couldn't have found a better paint job to show off!

check the trim is a good idea.

It needs to be set in the right position for take-off along with the flaps
