I was looking through pictures of YXX over at a.net, when I came across this photo.

I surprised to see a T-Bird painted this way.
I had always thought the Snowbirds used Tutors, and only Tutors.
I was wondering if anyone here could fill me in on the history behind this jet.
And if possible, supply me with more shots.

Not a "Show Bird", it's the Sqdn "Hack".
The Sqdn hack is used when a pilot needs to do any flying duties that don't need the use of an "operational" plane. It will also be used to transport emergency parts to deployment locations, a T-Bird has much better luggage capacity than many other types (especially the Tutor). Sometimes pilots will use it to go on cross-country flights...like visiting family or someplace with great skiing.
Thanks for the photo...I've worked on that bird later in it's life (it was in more conventional colours then).
