Hi all,

Not a big deal, but i've managed to land a spit for the first time! Hooray! Grin

I was fooling around in the Italian alps when i suddenly noticed this funny little airstrip - Ambri (LSPM) - smack in the middle of those huge mountains! I just had to try ...

Just enjoying this magnificent plane.

On the tarmac - was a hobbely landing, but i got away with it.

Nope, Italian terrain mesh + Frensh mesh + German/Switzerland mesh.

All to be found on www.fs2000.org - search mesh.

I still use Paul Rebuffats FS2k2 and CFS2 Spits in FS9 and they look great.
Omag she is a Mk XIV with bubble canopy, not a IV Wink

If you want a challenging approach,head over to avsim and search for "bc2.zip". Then pick up Holger Sandmann's British Columbia meshes as well and voilà,you've now got some airstrips with the probably most challenging approaches in the FS-world.
The airfields are Upper Stein Valley (right on top of a mountain!) and Lower Stein Valley (located in a very narrow canyon,even narrower than the one in your pics!).

The perfect opportunity to show your skills and test your Bush flying planes.
(I strongly recommend the Aviat Husky and the Bellanca Scout. Wink)
