I'm back with a new question. When I change the ILS freq, from the default startup freq for runway 36R to 36L and select the reverse arrow tap the freqs change but I don't receive anything and the DME window no longer shows any distance.

I've checked the airport freqs and I'm using the correct ones. Nav1 & Nav2 are both selected.

So what am I doing wrong or not doing at all?

I listend to the tute in FS9, but it didn't cover this. Is there a tute that I can d/l?

I'm using FS9

If it's the correct frequency and you're sure, pull out the audio nob. If you hear the morse code but the VOR indicators still aren't picking up the signal, try looking for a NAV/GPS switch and try toggling it. The switch is to couple the VOR  to the GPS. Toggling it back would couple it back to the nav radios.

Andrew; Thanks for the reply, Not sure what you mean by audio nob, I've tried to pull the Ident nob but it wont move for me, it just turns the NAV1 off. As soon as I hit the STBY arrows it switches back to the other freq the Ident nob comes out and I hear the code identifier.

Toggling the NAV/GPS switch doesn't help.

Do you know of any tute's that I can d/l and read up about the radios?

It's at an airport that I built with AFCAD and it has DMEs for both runways.

By the way are you on the west coast? I'm in central Cal.
