your logbook should be in the My Documents folder along with any saved flightplans you have and should have a .txt extension on it. This is a regular text file if you moved it to some other folder then just put it back as FS looks for it in that folder. I am not sure if you can get FS to look for it elese where. 8)
The name of this file is logbook.txt check to make sure the name has not changed or that the extinsion has not been changed to something other than txt. If you open this file with worpad or M$word and save it it might change it to a rich text file and FS might not recognize it.

Take a look at this post from a few days ago, same problem.
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=COF;action=display;num=108...
It happens now and then; the name of the logbook changes from "logbook" to a string of characters in your FS9.cfg file. Delete the string and you'll be fine.
Apparently I am not the only one who has this strange thing happen. (BTW: it started after I downloaded the Jet Provost and flew it the first time but that could be a coincidence...)
Anyone know why it happens??????
Cheers
