I just installed the aircraft. But none of the guages show up in the 2d  view. I think others have had the same problem. How do I get the guages to show up. In the panel cfg. It shows using the [fltsim]
alias=b737_400\panel

Plus when I did fly it .  It seemed awful heavy. Took forever to get up speed. Is that normal ?

I am not sure about your first problem, but as far as it "feeling" heavy, I would say that it would be the norm. Do check and make sure that you are not over weight with fuel or payload. That will make for a long take off, or a very short flight.

I also find that it takes evey bit of my "home" airport`s 12k foot runway to get airborn.
I tried it several times without full fuel  loads with the same results.

It`s not that it needs higher than expected speeds to rotate, it simply seems to fail  to gain speed as it should.

P.S.
I should add that once airborn it does handle great however. Smiley

Home airports are KMGJ and KSWF in Orange County, NY&&Stop by and say hello. Smiley

Sounds to me like you got an anvil with wings. Sad
There are several things that could cause this from bad flight dynamics to tuning the aircraft performance data. You have to decide if it is really worth the effort  Roll Eyes.
It could be a quick fix or one that is going to drive you up the wall. I do not mind checking out the minor things but if that does not work than it is off to the airplane grave yard it goes. I am not going to knock my self out trying to get a plane to fly right. 8)
