Waynelinda,
The program your looking for is M98toBGL, I'm not sure if it will/can convert FS 2002 aircraft ???

The improved version is MdltoBgl. Both are by Trevor de Stigter.
You will be unable to convert most all FS2002 aircraft into APIs for scenery design work or stand-alone BGLs for dropping straight in situ.
The ONLY aircraft that are convertible are those which have xyz.{n}af textures
eg tomcatfd1.0af
tomcatfd1.1af
etc
This includes the occasional hybrid which has mainly af textures but supplemented by some bmps for 'special' surfaces eg in Kai Tak I had a Mandarin 747 like that.
Aircraft with all bmp textures WILL NOT work.
Believe me I know because I have spent HOURS and HOURS on this for many projects. This means ONLY FS5 (and you'll need FS98 to be installed together with the FS98 converter to make them suitable for FS98 ), FS98 and very early FS2000 planes can be used. Almost no FS2002 , except I found a B1 just the other day that claimed to be for FS2002 (although I personally doubted it) with af textures that made APIs successfully, although I haven't tested em so I don't know for sure they work.
Even some planes that make APIs are unusable because they have faults eg I had Prowlers that ended up with no nose wheels with their noses resting on the carrier deck. Also I still haven't solved the problem of Tomcats that show BOTH sets of wings when converted into statics.
Hope this helps as this question occasionally comes up and the above is definitive.
Roger
