Does anyone know if you can install Flight Instructor for fs2004 without istalling the entire game? If so, then how?

I don't expect that it's possible, but I figured sombody here could confirm.

Thanks

Hi Toogs, welcome to the forum. Enjoy your stay!

Don't know if I understand your question....flight instructor without the rest of the game? That would be an instructor without planes, airports, clouds, scenery wouldn't it...bit boring if you ask me Grin
Just kidding. Could you be a bit more specific? What parts would you like to leave out? I know you can do a minimal install that leaves a lot of features (mainly scenery I think) out. The game as it is when you install it is quite basic in my opinion, don't really know what could be left out.

Cheers

Hmm... I guess what I mean is, what is the smallest amount of the game I can load and still have Flight Instructor functional.

I have an older computer I want to install it on -- just to use the Flight Instructor. The 6gb hard drive (the rest of the stats meet the minimum reqs) is almost full and I was wondering what's the minimum install for it to still work.

So what you're saying is I pretty much need the full game to run it?

ok I see. Yes, you need to install the game completely but you can select "minimal install" which saves on disc space. Don't know how much space it takes though. Maybe somebody else knows.
Or...get yourself a larger HD...

- a word on this. I do not want to discourage you but...Read some of the other topics. Meeting the minimum reqs could mean the game will run but only just and hardly be enjoyable. Common belief is the stated minimum reqs are a joke. Browse through these forums here and you'll get the picture!

Good luck
Cheers
