1. How can i change the info shown on the select plane screen
2. Where can i find some Me-262's. I got the one thats on this site but its guages are blacked and its the bomber version (i think there were both a fighter and a bomber version)
3. How can i get scenery off of FS 98? (Its required for a lot of the downloadable pacific campaigns)
theres some more i cant remember right now.........

Oh yeah is there a 1% version of the Me-262.
And has anyone ever heard of a german plane called the Ju-390?

MOre questions
1. I downloaded the guadalcanal campaign off this site but the readme said it needed FS98 Scenery. could i use another set of guadalcanal scenery i've got for the campaign. Or where could i download the fs98 scenery i need?
2. Same thing for the pearl harbor mission on this site. do i have to use fs98 scenery?
3. How can i add downloaded planes to the choice of enemies in quick combat

1:- Description:- That's kept in the *.air file. To edit that you will need 'AirEd', get it from Will's home page at http://members.dsl-only.net/~eagle/#statement. It is just off the top called '2 Description'.
2:- I would search round for a new panel for it or make one with CFGEdit (http://www.cfgedit.com/). I don't know of any more '262's, just search all of the other sim sites, AVSIM.com, Flightsim.com, flightsimnetwork etc...
3:- I don't know totally, although I do know it seems to be easy to mess up your sim with scenery. I should imagine you just move it in and use the scenery library.

What is a '1%' version? No I haven't heard of a JU390, try googling it.

1. I should imagine any scenery would work
2. Ditto
3. Yes Yes Yes.... It's great fun! It is really easy to just use a small utility called QCAll, you can get it here. I think there is a limit to the amount of aircraft the list can handle, aroun 50 I think.
Anything I missed? Good.....

Hi Tiger. It's been a while since I messed around with CFS1.
1. I think the name of the aircraft on the menu wll be the name against the Aircraft.cfg title= entry.* This can be edited in Notepad if you wish. For the other aircraft info Dan is correct about AirEd but it's posted right here at SimV.
2. The gauges shouldn't be blacked out. Maybe you didn't install them. Paste all included GAU files into the CFS1\Gauges folder.
3. You would need FS98 to use its default scenery. If you don't have FS98 the campaigns will work without it.

There was a Junkers Ju 390. http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/ju390.html
Not sure there's a CFS1 or FS98 version.

Unfortunately some of the older CFS1 missions/campaigns require 3rd party files that are no longer available. If this is scenery the same applies as for the FS98 default files. They will work but the scenery will not look right.

*PS. I might not be correct about the name of the aircraft. It's best not to mess around renaming them too much or any missions the aircraft are used in might not work.

Tiger. The 1% files are posted at AvHistory. http://www.avhistory.org/
They're for CFS2 & CFS3. I've not seen any for CFS1. I've not heard of these USF files you mention.

It's possible I missed it but I've never seen a Ju 390 for any version of FS/CFS.
