I insist what 's the nature fisicly of the virtual cockpit
I know it's inside of the mdl visual aircraft,but if i create
an airplane in gmax or 3d studio max with panda direct,what else,the cockpit has nothing to do with the model i made
it's an a double fusioned creation?how they do that Undecided

When you create the object in GMax or 3DS Max that will display the instruments, you must give it a special name and properties.This tells the Flight Simulator engine that it can display the instruments upon it in real time. Yes, the object is compiled into the "MDL" file but you must make reference to it in special code in the "Panel.cfg".

It makes no difference whether you are using the Microsoft "X" file exporter or the one from Panda for use in 3DS Max.

You can filnd all the documentation on how to do this in the "GMAX Aircraft Creation Document" which is part of the Microsoft Flight Simulator SDK for FS2004.

This SDK and others can be downloaded ffom Microsoft's web site.

thank you thank you and thank very much, i didn'T know that every property when you exported has to have a specific name so that the program understanded, a last you'll never now how many time i have asked this question and no one could give me the right answer USAF_xWman,I'm from venezuela and my english is no good at all,i could not expres the nature of my question

any way the other friend understand the nature of my question and gave me the right answer a last i understand all it's about exporting codes or names so the program understanded i can designed but adding an specific name
