Last time I flew my Commander from Carthage Tunisia to Tripoli Libya and made quite the mess during landing...


The mess was quickly cleaned up and the tanks filled.  I hopped in the cockpit and got the props turning.  I taxied to the active and pushed the trottle forward.





Outside the sun was passing over head, clouds were spreading, and the wind was calming down.





The coast slipped below me and I was out over the sea again. 



The water was very blue and clear.  From that altitude it looked very inviting, but I wasn't up for a swim.  There were a lot of fishing boats out on the water, and farther out on the sea I could see larger friegthers.

About an hour after crossing the coast, I saw land...  I flew into Labraq and began searching for an airport.



On the western outshirts I found the city's airport.



I tuned to the tower and got permission to land.



My touchdown was much nicer than the earlier ones that day, minimal smoke and noise.



I taxied to the fuel pumps, there was still enough daylight for a quick hop into Egypt.
