Load up our favourite FS 2002, (with Gerrish Grays Autumn trees), set the time for 13:00 hours, September 22nd, nice weather, scatterd clouds as required... 8)...!
Rig up your favourite Flexwing...
...and pop over to Locarno, LSZL (Italy).
Fantastic, varied scenery. Lakes and mountains...!

Push the throttle to the max... Wink

Up and away... 8)...!

Heading for the valley, between the mountains.

Heading back to base. Lots of lakes to try out your microlight float plane... 8)...!

By the way, I never did manage to get your water effects sorted out in FS 2004, so I've abandoned FS 2004 altogether, and reverted back to my lubbly, jubbly, FS 2002 with it's Flight Water Pro water effects, and all my nice planes and add-ons, etc.... Grin

Just a quick question though....I believe here all ultra light pilots must wear a helmet. Now I am not sure that is the law...it is with motorcycles and snowmobiles but those I have encountered were using helmets. Perhaps because they were radio equipped.

Just an observation...see I pay attention...even though the old girl says otherwise. Cheesy

Which is a pretty stupid rule if you think about it. I mean, if a UL crashes, that helmet isn't going to help a whole bunch. It's kind of like a skydiver wearing a helmet...

My local airfield is very popular with Flexwing/Microlight/Ultralight fliers 'cos of it's quiet location, (in the middle of no-where), where there is no conflict with commercial aircraft, (jet propelled, aluminium cigar tubes), etc.... Grin

As to the helmets and the Law, I haven't really taken much notice. Most of the pilots seem to wear helmets to contain their headphones and also keep their lug-'oles warm when flying....!
...it's a bit cool up in the air over here, most times... Roll Eyes
