Thanks for the posting....... but the problem with that information is that the "minimum specifications" listed there and also on the FS2004 box are so far off the mark as to be totally absurd.

Most with 2 Gig systems and 512 M ram are still having significant issues with framerates.

yep, microsoft is way off with those specs. I have issues with a athlon xp3000 with a gig of ram and a radeon 9800, still have to turn the sliders down. The clouds kill the framerate.

I think what Microsoft means by those specs is that with a computer like that you can  actually load the program without crashing your OS. It doesn't mean that the sim is playable with that.


I've seen other programs that understate the system specs but this one has to be the most understated yet. It's hard to believe that they are even remotely serious when they suggest these specs. Actually I wouldn't recommend those specs for FS 2000 or 2002. Maybe FS 98 could get by with that but I wouldn't hold my breath while it was loading.  Grin
