With the angles carefully chosen and the position carefully picked and shot, I can faithfully say that is all cleared up so much, especially with that second shot......heck, its all as clear as the view inside a cloud !

They already are.  Search for 'smoke' and you'll find it in the FS2002 section.  It's not too hard to do. Simply paste this into the .cfg file:

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.2=0.0,  -2.0,   0.0,  fx_port_WHITE
smoke.0=0.0,  -2.0,  -12.0,  fx_port_BLUE
smoke.1=0.0,  -2.0,   12.0,  fx_port_RED


Paste that and you'll be set.  It should work for most low wing mono-planes, but you can adjust the value just before fx_port to fine tune the width.
